A really comfy little coffee place, if you like strong and aromatic coffee. They don't serve meals as such, but nice home baked cakes and quiches. Recently, an excellent little sandwich place open-end inside the garden with an extensive offer on interesting sandwich fillings. They also offer organic produces according to season.

Only a 25min drive from your home, this is a cozy but vibrant little town. Make sure you visit 'The Heads' for a stroll and view of the ocean and lagoon. Lots of little coffee houses and restaurants to choose from.

If you feel like a little bit of a longer excursion, visit Plettenberg Bay. A little beach village, with breathtaking views. There are also very nice hiking trails in Nature Valley.

Oudtshoorn is a town in the Karoo, know for its arid and dry vegetation, lots of cactus and succulent plants. Famous for ostrich farms, leather production and game drives.

A costal town about an hours drive from the house. What we like most about it is the safe bay to swim in the ocean. There is a small museum to visit with a bit of history of the explorations of Vasco da Gamma. Oh, and the recently added a Zip Line across the bay, an absolute must if you like adventure and speed.
