Angouleme is just 25 kilometres from my home. There are shops, restaurants, bars and many interesting areas to visit. The city is famous for its parchment paper, cartoon strips, chocolate and its world famous Circuit des Remparts, where the centre is cordonned off for a whole weekend of vintage and classic cars. Visitors from all over the world fly into France, just for this occasion.

Visitors from all over the world fly into France, just for this occasion.
This is a one and a half hour drive from my home and is a sombre day out but well worthwhile. Before taking this trip, I advise visitors to research it.
