Moderate hike with fantastic views. Switchbacks at the start give a good workout. Beautiful drive to the trailhead, about 40 minutes from here. Nice flat lookout at the top makes a nice picnic spot.

This park has everything- peaceful sounds of the rushing creek, hiking trails, easy pathways, beautiful colors in spring and fall. The park is a hub for activity during the summer and truly a gathering place for the community.
