Interesting pub to visit with 3 floors. Good food especially in the restaurant (advise booking) bar meals served in the bar areas. The old original waterwheel is on view within the pub and on the top floor the water still runs through to the wheel. Outside seating are with heating is on the top floor with a recently added cocktail bar.

Great pub with excellent food. Quiet country pub in the tiny village of Oxen Park 15 mins drive from Ulverston. Good outdoor seating area and recently renovated. Very friendly staff well worth a visit. I would recommend you book as always booked up in advance.

Great little country pub with good selection of real ales. Outside seating area and often live music at the weekends. Burger night Fridays and Saturdays is a must. Real steak and chicken burgers with various toppings and home made chips. Another favorite of mine.

Bardsea Beach is a must for a great walk and Roy's Ice Cream is a must. The beautiful sandy beach stretches' for miles and is ideal for tiring out your dogs. Very clean with rock pools for the children to explore. Stunning views for photographers and bird watching. Good fishing too.

15 mins away by car. A charming little zoo with plenty of animals to see. Great for entertaining the children. Café and picnic area and feeding time is a treat.

A must visit for history fans. Such a magnificent ruin with a museum to meander around. Great café just outside the Abby grounds for snacks and ice cream and great cakes. I recommend a visit.

10 Mins by car. A must for animal lovers, and just by the beach too.
Stunning tranquil walks, with plenty of wildlife to see. Amazing views and scenery a photographers dream. Wooden walkways through out. Also great for cycling too.
