Wonderful gardens and a lovely stately home still lived in by the Sykes family. Traditionally most of Thixendale was owned by Sledmere Estate so there is quite an affinity.
There is a very tasty cafe, plus garden and home store in the old Woodyard.

A beautiful historic house, regularly seen on screen! It has provided the backdrop to Brideshead Revisited, Garfield, Victoria, Death Comes to Pemberley and Bridgerton. Visit the farm shop, cafe, garden centre and two playgrounds!
