This place can be painfully hip (for book-ish Hyde Park, at least), but the food is great and the drinks are awesome. The playlist is eclectic, and it's easy to spend hours working, reading, or just people watching.

Because of it's location in the university community, you can find some very interesting reading material, and the price is right!

Harper Theater belongs to an old style of theater where the tickets are cheap, the seats are comfortable, and the theaters are small. And clean! What's there to dislike?
