You can take a stroll around Evergreen lake and then head to town for a glass of wine at Creekside Cellars! A small winery with a deck overlooking the river, small plates and some interesting wines-I enjoyed the Cab Franc!

Definitely a Colorado must see! A beautiful place to see a live concert or film on the rocks, but if you can't do that then you still can enjoy the natural beauty of the red rocks and the amphitheater setting. Want a good workout-climb the stairs to the top! The small town of Morrison is down the street which includes small shops and several places to grab a drink and a bite!

This local family owned winery is just minutes down the street. Beautiful venue, over 20 wines to taste and delicious food! You will need a reservation to do a tasting or enjoy a meal, please call ahead!

If you’re looking to grab a quick cup of coffee to start the day, Boyers coffee, just down the street from the house used to be a 1927 school house! It is a historic part of the area. It burned down last spring but they have coffee trucks and outdoor seating while they rebuild. Not to mention the tasty coffee drinks!

Mickeys has been a part of the neighborhood for over 50 years and is still a local favorite. A variety of dishes from steaks, chicken, Italian & Mexican. The steaks are what they are known for and my personal favorite is the filet Mignon with sautéed mushrooms, just make sure to order it "Medium Well" if you like a slightly pink center, otherwise they tend to be more on the "rare" side.

The School House Kitchen is in an original1882 schoolhouse with fun school menu and boasting over 2,000 whiskeys! Scrumptious is the local ice cream and old timey candy shop and ice cream store with so many nostalgic varieties of candy to choose from and feel like a kid again!
