The food is cooked from scratch prepared by a professional chef. We love their shoestring fries and coleslaw! They also have some amazing jalapeno grits. Who would have thought grits could taste so good. :)

This is a great place to escape the valley heat. There are picnic areas, swimming, boating, and fishing. You can rent boats and jet skis. We love it for the picnic tables near the water. We swim then eat and don't get overheated.

This is 2 hours outside of the city, but it gets you out of the heat. You can hike for free in the cool canyon breeze, surrounded by mountain pine trees. If you are getting too hot in the valley, this is the place to go to stretch your legs and get some fresh air during the summer.
