This valley makes for a great day out for the experienced walker. The walks around the waterfall, streams, woodlands are accessible for all ages. Why not bring a picnic and sit at one of the many picnic tables in the park. There is an admission fee.

This 200 year old cottage and traditional working farm is a family run visitor centre. On your visit you will see the ghostly ruins of a dwelling dating back to the era is the Great Famine and a Neolithic Stone Row that forms last of an ancient sun calendar.
