"take-out" style shop specializes in poke bowls and plates, featuring a variety of locally caught ahi tuna. Not a fan of tuna? Not a problem. We also serve shrimp, tako and taegu. For those in your ohana who do not eat seafood, we serve traditional lau lau and kalua pulled pork. We even do a vegetarian poke bowl and offer gluten free options! In addition, all poke bowls and plates are served with locally inspired side dishes and rice. Our shop opens at 10am, and we highly recommend coming early as our poke tends to sell out daily. Most days, the earlier you visit, the greater the variety of poke and side dishes to choose from. Since we guarantee freshness, and we NEVER serve yesterday's poke, we appreciate your understanding if we do not have your favorite poke late in the afternoon. Come and see us, you'll be hooked! If you like big, bold flavors and don't mind a little sambal mayo and truffle oil, you'll love it. Take, for example, the signature ahi sashimi, fresh-caught raw ahi, wrapped in arugula and spinach, rolled in panko crumbs, and flash-fried and served in a puddle of soy wasabi butter sauce.

Have you ever seen a beach with black sand? Because of constant volcanic activity, you'll find white sands and black sands on the island of Hawaii. Located on the southeastern Kau coast, Punaluu Black Sand Beach is one of the most famous black sand beaches in Hawaii.
Although swimming isn't ideal, there is a picnic area and restroom facilities so you can have lunch while you experience the unique feeling of black sand between your toes.
