Lake Montriond during the summer is a great location to spend some time. You can swim in the lake, picnic on the lakesie, take a leisurely walk around it or venture a further and walk to the waterfall. There is also a cafe and restaurant at the lake. Parking is free.

Yvoire is a favourite for a summer visit. It is located on the shores of lake Geneva and is a walled medieval village which has many small shops, cafes and restaurants. No traffic is allowed in the village so parking is available in the nearby car parks

It also has a small ski resort, as well as an Abbey with cloisters. The village is located in the Chatel valley and there are many local mountain trails that are great to explore in the summer.
