Just a small representation of all the great outdoor activities that are available in this area. I haven't been to all of them so please feel free to go to other sites/businesses that friends or family may have suggested from their own experiences. Nothing speaks louder than word of mouth recommendations.

I wish I could post all of the tasty restaurants that we've eaten at over the years. My family's personal favorite is The Old Mill's Pottery House Cafe in Pigeon Forge. Are you concerned about dining in due to the spread of Covid? Many of the restaurants offer carry out or curb-side service.

There are several wineries and moonshine distillery stores in this area. Some even offer free samples! We seem to go to the Ole Smoky Moonshine store in downtown Gatlinburg every time we stay at the condo. For a small price, they offer samples of several of their flavored or special batch moonshine whiskeys. Have you ever had their cherries, peaches, okra or pickles? Kentucky's bourbon trail has nothing on Tennessee moonshine. Come on and try something new. Just remember to drink responsibly and have a designated driver.

We've used the trolley in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to get around during some of our visits over the years. On the first day we got to the area, we took the trolleys to scope out all the stores and sights we wanted to consider going to. Saved our feet from blisters and our energy so we could enjoy ourselves during our stay. Parking in Gatlinburg during high season can be expensive and a challenge.
