Great deep dish pizza right down the street! Volos provides a 9 dollar pick up special for lasagna, spaghetti (both with fantastic garlic bread) or a small pizza. A tried and true neighborhood spot!

Simply Irie is a fantastic Jamaican restaurant offering up servings of authentic, tasty and sumptuous island dishes that are a must try if you're looking for jerk chicken, stew beef, chicken roti or doubles!
One of my favorite restaurants in Calgary, it is a must try! Located around the middle of the Red Mile.

Fantastic Chinese Food, reasonably priced take-out establishment- there is no in person dining here but the food is great!

If you love BBQ or Roast pork, Roast duck, Chinese sausages this is hands down the best place in the city to get a quick and inexpensive meal. Value for the money, flavour explosion and friendly service are the hallmarks of this family run business! They have a lunchbox special for 10-12 dollars which features your choice of 2 meats on steamed rice that will feed you for 2 meals or more!
One of my Favourite places in the city it is a takeout only place :)

A variety of e-scooters are available for rent in Calgary from a few companies- Lime, Bird and at least 1 other. Download their app, find a scooter and you can rent for a fee by the minute or day! A great way to see the city and lots of fun with easy to navigate dedicated bike lanes in the city!!!

Bring a light jacket or rain jacket!
Even though the temperatures may seem high in the day the nightly temperatures or daily ones can drop quite quickly, rain or wind can pick up quite fast.
Because of Calgary's mountain location the weather can turn quite quickly - if you're moving around for the day, during the spring and summer, a jacket is great to have in your backpack!
Also bring an umbrella!
