This very small town of under 200 people has a very quaint atmosphere. Hosts the oldest schoolhouse in CA. The Youngs market has a cash register that is over 100 years and still in use.

This tavern in the late 1800's started out as a drug store. You can no longer ride your horse thru the tavern tho. Also has a full size shuffleboard

This is not a very good picture of the lake. it is huge. Great fishing. in the winter locals cut holes in the ice to fish. Nice place to kayak. we have 4 kayaks we will go with you.

This is our county, 90% national forest. There are many more cows here than residents. Greenville, Taylorsville, Quincy and several other small communities are in this county. All small towns with lots of great history. These 3 towns have wonderful museums.

Mt Huff is a 9 hole course. Its backdrop is the actual Mt Hough, running along Indian Creek. The owners are Jim and Elissa, they cook up a great lunch by the way.
