This is our favorite local restaurant. We especially love the breakfast. They open for breakfast at 5:30 in the morning! Hint: go early during the summer and on weekends! We also love the cream pies served here. This is a small restaurant so I wouldn't advise going in with a large group.

Another one of our favorite restaurants... It is a 20 minute drive from the barn but well worth it. We love the Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries.

Fun activities
Along with a great bakery, this place has an adorable petting farm in the summer time. Our children love coming here and the price is very reasonable. Another highlight is ordering lunch at the outdoor food stand and eating at the picnic tables.

A great drive through animal park featuring over 500 animals. They are closed November-March. Depending what time of the year you come you may see plowing, thrashing, canning, and quilting.

A great place to visit in the summer and fall...this place is run by an Amish widow woman. She raises all her produce right there on the farm. In the fall she has lots of pumpkins. I love cutting my own bouquet of flowers. Everything is paid by using the honor system. You leave your money in a bucket and get change as needed.

An excellent road side stand to buy fresh peaches from and it is super close to the barn. I buy all our families peaches here in the summertime. Ask them how to store your peaches until you are ready to use them. They know what they are doing! (I may be biased as the owners are related to my husband!)
