This is a small pocket neighborhood with a lot of small businesses, tons of historic buildings with amazing and unique architecture, and overall just a cool area. Saint Louis University and Harris Stowe University are also both part of this unique little area. The Fox Theater is a must see if not for a show, just to see it.

Is it safe here?
As we would tell anyone, always be aware of your surroundings when in any environment that is not familiar or known to you. While we would encourage freely walking around during the daytime, we would not recommend walking alone after dark. There are plenty of travel options such as 3rd party rides providers, and pay per use public scooters.
