Budget-friendly and REALLY GOOD banh mi and pho (vegetarian and vegan options available). They close at 4pm, so get in early, but it's worth it to stop in for lunch!

A little higher-end than some of EAV's other options, this place has AMAZING food and a really interesting ambience. It's also a great date-night spot and has a solid drink selection.

This is an interesting little spot. It shares a building with Soba, a local Pho place. Octopus Bar is strictly a late night spot as it opens at 10pm. It's a hidden gem for good food and really good drinks late at night. It's within walking distance from us as well.

One of the best queer bars in the city, but it's a local favorite of many ATLiens. Cheap drinks, great music, really fun vibe and they always have something going on. If you go here, be prepared to DANCE!

This is a bar and music venue in Little Five Points that is definitely well known! I once saw a grown man in a full Aladdin costume nonchalantly hanging up signs out front on a Monday afternoon - that's Star Bar.

This place is under Star Community Bar in Little Five Points. To get to it, go around the back towards the parking lot. There's a little patio that leads into it. Great low-key spot with a cool vibe.

Piedmont Park is iconic in Atlanta. It's huge and definitely worth visiting if you like to enjoy the outdoors. It's also very close to the beginning of the Beltline. This is in the middle of Atlanta, so a few miles from us. You can easily Uber/Lyft there, though.

501 Amsterdam Ave NEPiedmont Park is iconic in Atlanta. It's huge and definitely worth visiting if you like to enjoy the outdoors. It's also very close to the beginning of the Beltline. This is in the middle of Atlanta, so a few miles from us. You can easily Uber/Lyft there, though.

There is a bus stop very close to our complex. The buses are easy to access and pretty cheap, but you would have to look online at the MARTA schedules for more information.

Cool little area with great shops and restaurants. Check out Criminal Records for shopping, The Vortex for burgers and the Porter for beer. It's about 2 miles from our apartment and well worth visiting.

The Beltline is a paved trail that runs through most of Atlanta. You can jump on at Krog Street Market, Inman Park, Ponce City Market, the Eastside gateway or the Gateway in West End, etc. There are tons of ways to get on the trail - it's a great way to explore the city and find good restuarants, bars, art installations, etc.
