Foxfire is one of our favorite restaurants on the mountain. We try to make it there at least once during each visit. Foxfire is a . We have never ordered something we didn't like. We have ordered the BBQ for 2 Platter a few times and really enjoy it. It provides a good sampling of a number of the entrees Foxfire has to offer. When I say "sampling," I do not mean to insinuate this is a small platter. It has a ton of food. In addition to the Platter, some of our favorite dishes are:
Coca-Cola Glazed Chicken: This is not your normal chicken dish. It is amazing and you will not be disappointed.
Pan Seared BBQ Salmon: If you like salmon and BBQ, this is a must.
Honest to Goodness Southern BBQ: Who doesn't love a good Pork BBQ sandwich? And Foxfire sure knows how to make one.

Cheat Mountain Pizza tends to be our go-to, especially when we've been out all day and don't want to cook. We find their pizza delicious and have also enjoyed some of their subs. You can't go wrong here. Their bar area is also a nice place to watch a game.

Cheat Mountain Pizza
10 Snowshoe DrCheat Mountain Pizza tends to be our go-to, especially when we've been out all day and don't want to cook. We find their pizza delicious and have also enjoyed some of their subs. You can't go wrong here. Their bar area is also a nice place to watch a game.
Old Spruce has this brewpub at Silver Creek (worth the drive/ride down) as well as two locations in the Village: the draft house and tavern. The Brewpub being the newest of the three, it's probably the nicest. Who doesn't love a good brewpub?
The Draft House is a small joint in the Village that serves West Virginia beers exclusively. And I can tell you West Virginia brews some pretty good beers. It's definitely worth a happy hour or two.
The Tavern is also located in the Village and is more of a small restaurant/bar. They have great beer - more of a selection than the other two - and great food. We've not tried anything we didn't like, but my wife really enjoys the macaroni and cheese.

Route 66 is located at the base of the mountain not far from the Snowshoe entrance. It is rustic in décor with a menu reminiscent of a diner. Excellent breakfast and big, delicious sandwiches. It is a great choice for delicious breakfast/brunch as you start your journey home.

The Shuttle will take you anywhere you want to go on the mountain. Want to go to 10 Prime, but don't want to drive? Take the shuttle. Want to enjoy dinner at the brewery, but don't want to drive? Take the shuttle. Want to ski but don't want to climb the stairs? Take the shuttle.
