The Loft is in Luchon. From the front door you can walk to the high street, markets, lakes, Lido, park, crazy golf, rugby/football pitches, tennis courts, and cable car.

Walk to this beautiful lake from The Loft. A beautiful place with lots to see. Next to the airfield watch the light aircraft take off towing the gliders. Watch the Paragliders land that took off from Superbagneres. Have a bite to eat or just some refreshments at the cafe and if you are lucky feed the otter family.

Walk to this beautiful lake from The Loft. A beautiful place with lots to see. Next to the airfield watch the light aircraft take off towing the gliders. Restaurants and bars are open all year, watch the paragliders take off from the top of the mountain. The road cyclist stop for a well earned rest, or the downhill mountain bikers, get a cable car up and downhill race down.
Visiting Lac Oo is a must. It’s pure paradise. You may not get there in the winter due to the depth of the snow, but spring, summer and autumn the place is magical. From The Loft it’s about 12miles. You can cycle or drive. Parking is free. It’s a 2mile walk from there. Wear sensible shoes, and take some cash. There is a cafe at Lac Oo for refreshments and snacks

Cycle this col from The Loft. Experience what the Tour de France athletes ride....it may take a little longer! If your not quite up to cycling then get a little help with an electric bike available to hire in Luchon, or take the car. At the top is a wicked cafe. Selling everything from tea and coffee to cooked lunches and crepes. An amazing view to top it off.
