Winery
Blue Ridge Winery is a lovely day trip about 45 minutes from our house. They do tastings, they have live music and a pizza truck. They also allow you to bring your own food so it's a lovely place for a picnic! There is plenty of outdoor seating with a view of the rows of their grapes and mountains in the background.

Sightseeing
This is a lovely 2.2 mile hiking trail that is considered moderate in terms of hiking. It is not too challenging and the scenery is very pretty.

Camelback is a great place to ski/snowboard! They have dining options nearby and you can also grab a bite at the lodge on the mountain. There is also a waterpark next to the ski mountain if you're more into that!
