I highly recommend a visit here if you're interested in history. It's the plantation home of President Andrew Jackson that is almost perfectly preserved. There are huge grounds you can walk around as well as guided tours of the house and a welcome center with lots of information.

An amazing conservation area similar to Walden Pond. Dogs are only allowed on the paved road but it's still a great experience.

7 acres of fenced in property, a .25 mile paved loop, seating, shade, and water fountains. One of the best dog parks I've ever experienced.

The best guacamole you have ever had. Great drinks and cool vibe - and only 2 miles from my house. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area.

One of my new favorite places for breakfast and lunch. Closed on Mondays. Their homemade cinnamon rolls are amazing. They also make great pastrami (sandwiches, hash, eggs benedict). And their OJ is fresh and amazing.

It's "family style", so you're seated at a large table with other people, and they bring everything on the menu for that meal to the table. You pay for your seat, and can eat as much as you want. They only have lemonade and sweet tea to drink.

It's "family style", so you're seated at a large table with other people, and they bring everything on the menu for that meal to the table. You pay for your seat, and can eat as much as you want. They only have lemonade and sweet tea to drink.
Perhaps the best Indian restaurant in Nashville, and only 1.5 miles from my house. Everything is great, the service is friendly and professional.

Other than Sunday and Monday nights, pretty much any show on the calendar is likely to give you an amazing experience. It's a songwriter's listening room, so everyone is quiet and focused on the writers and their songs.
