Tucked between two bushy headlands, just north of Mission Beach is Garners Beach. Still relatively undeveloped apart from a quiet back road, the beach is fringed by rocky outcrops, sandy flats and coral reefs, while the protected location means the water is consistently calm.

Bicton Hill Walk is 4.5 km north of Mission Beach Village on the Bingil Bay Road. This four kilometer circuit track up Bicton Hill is well worth the view. Watch out for cassowaries and echidnas.
