Sherborne is a delight. It has individual shops, cafes, deli's, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs - everything you could wish for in a small town.
The stunning abbey is so special and peaceful and is just lovely to sit in and take a break from life for 10 minutes.
The local streets are lovely to have a good walk around, with such gorgeous buildings it's an architectural delight. Go for a long walk around the town and finish up having a glass of wine or two in The Cross Keys, which is run my Mo and his team who run a first class establishment.

We first came across the Story Pig produce at local farmers markets. their smokey streaky bacon is divine as well as their sausages.
They sell their own produce which is top class. They now have a lovely cafe selling home made food, in a beautiful setting. Definitely worth popping in to see thislovely family and their stunning farm.

Definitely a favourite of ours. From a bacon sandwich, to a glass or two, to a 3 course meal. This place has it all. Mo and his team go out of their way to provide a lovely experience here so please do pay a visit.

Stunning pub serving delicious food that we polished off to a man, woman and hormonal teenager! The garden has wonderful countryside views and it's a lovely atmosphere to boot.

The food is absolutely amazing here. and I mean melt in the mouth amazing. Highly recommended but you will need to book in advance.

Best cream tea ever! You can park here, but we park down at the beach and then walk up through the fields as we then feel we have earned the right to the massive scones and copious amounts of strawberry jam and delightful clotted cream (I'm salivating as I type this!).
They also do lots of lovely lunches of which always look delicious when they are walked past us. We always go for the cream tea though!
In the current climate it's better to book to ensure you get a spot.
