This local brewery has a nightly food truck that is usually really good, the beer is exceptional and they are in a rustic shed on Sugar rd. Its only a short Uber ride away. It has a local feel and all the brews are bubbling just behind the bar.

The Mooloolaba Spit has heaps of seafood places, freshly caught. Any of these places are good, from fine dining to fish and chips in paper, eating on the grassed area or playground. The Mooloolaba Prawns are a must have, they are big and sweet. You can walk off your feed along the spit or back to Mooloolaba main beach.

Yandina - You have to book in advance as this is often booked for weeks ahead. If you are flexible you can often get a table for lunch. This is the best restaurant I have visited on the Sunshine Coast. The whole snapper coated in chilli is a must have, its expensive but for a couple not too bad. The outlook over the lakes and gardens is exceptional and the food is delicious. Great to bring friends and have an afternoon or evening. They have a cocktail bar aswell. If you like fine dining, this is it.

The cocktails are good, the food is good. They have a small bar and an indoor and outdoor eating area. Its probably good for families. I have eaten here a couple of times, the dish are pretty filling. Lots of cheesy, Mexican inspired food.

A nice bar to have a drink and they do pretty good pub grub aswell. Lots of beers on tap and great proximity to the main beach at Mooloolaba.

This is a nice place to eat in Mooloolaba for a family, wont break the budget and is genuinely tasty. Licensed but not too expensive for alcohol. There are a bunch of bars opposite as well that are good to visit.

Excellent family run Italian. Licensed. It books out on weekends so try to go mid week when it’s quiet. The mixed desert plate and the Sicillian hotpot are outstanding.Its also licensed and walking distance.

If you are planning on doing some Nippers, Mooloolaba has very gentle surf and sometimes do a condensed program during school holidays for kids. They also run a Bronze Medallion course for adults that you can do over a week or so. Its worth enquiring and its certainly fun (although also hard work!). The food and bar here has a fantastic outlook over the ocean.
