Beautiful hike! It does have a very steep incline all the way up to the top (with lots of places to stop and rest if need be), but the views are worth it. There is also a bathroom and gift shop. Parking can be difficult as it gets crowded! We recommend going either early or later. It is a winding road on the way up there.

This is a must visit at some point during your trip! Really good burgers! We've traveled a lot and had some amazing burgers and this is right up there with the best. The best part - everything is locally sourced and homemade. Good service and good selection of beers.

A little bit of a trek, but if you're craving some of the best Southern BBQ, this little 'hole in the wall' in Gatlinburg is a great choice! And the service is great. We love the smoky Mac and cheese and the pulled pork.
