Situated in a garden with bamboo tables and seating, providing a lovely tropical feel, together African grey parrots!
Koh Tan Cuisine is a great family run restaurant. Very good food. Breathtaking views. A boat tour is also run from here which is recommended. The owner is friendly and we are often told adds additional character to the place. Service can be slow sometimes, but its a wonderful place to sit, enjoy and wait!

4170Koh Tan Cuisine is a great family run restaurant. Very good food. Breathtaking views. A boat tour is also run from here which is recommended. The owner is friendly and we are often told adds additional character to the place. Service can be slow sometimes, but its a wonderful place to sit, enjoy and wait!

The Restaurant is located at Lipa Noi beach on the west side of Koh Samui. There are tables on the beach, very nicely presented with table cloths and candles. Long tail boat rides are available out to the islands from a small harbour belonging to the restaurant. Beautiful in the daytime and very romantic setting for dinner. Lovely part of the beach, picturesque and with amazing sunsets.

The Night Bazaar operates in Lamai most nights and has a dozen or so stalls selling generally food with the only BBQ stall, but also a pretty good further selection including fish and vegetarian options. It’s good …not large, but all well established.

Beautiful pagoda situated in lovely, quiet location on the beach in the south of the island. Reminder to wear respectable clothing as it is a religious site. Laem Sor was built in 1907. In 1967 it was hit by lightening and rebuilt by hand in 2003.

Small Rum Distillery with a nice little Restaurant in the grounds. There is no guided tour, just few pictures on the wall where you can read and see everything you need. Gets mixed Reviews from the visits to the Distillery!

There are 2 Namuang waterfalls. Muang in Thai means purple and is named so because of the purple rocks that form the falls.
Namuang Waterfall 1 is a beautiful 18m high waterfall and easily accessible by a short walk into the jungle from the parking area nearby. There is a lovely pool formed at the foot of the waterfall where you will find tourists and locals alike jumping off rocks and taking a dip to cool off.
Namuang Waterfalls are set in lush jungle surrounds, easily accessible just off the main ring road Route 4169 about halfway between Nathon and Lamai Beach.

It’s a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere with the road closed to traffic and the popular market attracts Koh Samui residents as well as tourists. A great area for a stroll, look around, purchase souvenirs, eat, etc. Lots of atmosphere. Can become very crowded so best to plan to go early.
