OBX Must Visits
This is definitely one of the places you want to say you've been to!
Avalon Pier is great for dropping a line into the ocean and seeing what you get! The beach is great, and there are many eclectic restaurants close by! Also, let's face it, everyone needs a picture by the pier! Only 1.8 miles from our house!

Avalon Pier

Corova Beach is where the wild horses are!! If you have a 4x4, and I mean ONLY 4x4, you can drive up to Corova, and probably see wild horses! Just make sure to stay 50 feet away at all times, as if they come into contact with a person, they are removed from their herd and brought to a farm, forever. They are amazingly beautiful and you can grab some gorgeous pictures of them playing in the surf, or hanging in the dunes!

Carova Beach
Corova Beach is where the wild horses are!! If you have a 4x4, and I mean ONLY 4x4, you can drive up to Corova, and probably see wild horses! The Wright Brothers Memorial is a must see when visiting the Outer Banks! Only a short drive from the house, but a monumental price of history!

Food Scene
The Hawaiian Pork Plate and Special Occasion Pasta are favorites, along with the amazing fish tacos! Mama Kwans is a local favorite, and for good reason. Get there early, you'll be glad you did!!

You won’t be getting lettuce and tomato on your burger here, but you will find the best darn burger, as they use Wagu beef and are simply amazing. Super chill place to have a burger and beer.
