About 10 minutes away. It sits on the banks of the Perquimans River. Dating to 1730, the house has been authentically restored and features period furnishings. It is the oldest house in NC that is open to the public.

They have a small soda fountain where you can get an ice cream cone for under a dollar (85 cents last time we were there). They also have great fresh-squeezed lemonade, made to order.
