lots of character and St. Charles is a beautiful oak lined boulevard where you can catch the streetcar all the way to the Riverbend and then walk up on the levy by the river or up on the Butterfly behind the Audubon zoo.

From the house, it's very convenient to commute by car anywhere in the city, biking is the local's preferred method of getting around, there are buses and the streetcar, lots of great places to stroll around during the day. I don't recommend walking around at night, in places where there aren't alot of people. If you're driving in the city, watch out for the potholes! Closest grocery is Robert's Fresh Market right on St. Claude.
