This place is the real deal. The owner is from Italy and they make some of the BEST pizza in NYC, we are serious. ALL of their other food is amazing too. Unless you are from Italy, you must try it!

Try A and A Doubles bakery for what the local Trinidadian population says is the best place to get a double (which is a fried bread and chick pea street snack) in all of NYC. Careful because you'll walk right past this place without ever knowing how famous and how good it is! We didn't know it was here for years!

This place is a wonderland. It takes about 35 minutes to get there on the G train or about 21 minutes by car.
Besides fresh food, it has a great eating area upstairs on the roof w/ tons of sunlight.

Fairway Market is great if you would like to buy groceries and get a great view of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty from afar. Beautiful scenery here - old Brooklyn cobble stone streets. GREAT FOOD
