There is a lot to do in La Jolla. We highly recommend the Seal Beach. It also has a lot of beautiful views from the beach.

It has of 5,000 veterans' memorials. The views of the water and the city are also breath taking. There is usual a former serviceman there to answer questions about the history of the memorial.

This is a great place to explore in the evening. It has several great restaurants and bars. This neighborhood also has a few comedy clubs and a dueling piano bar. You will have to get tickets ahead of time. Mark and I enjoy Shout! House and American Comedy Company.

This is great place to visit day or night! It has a lot of history and great restaurants. Highly recommend Casa Guadalajara. The food and the atmosphere are wonderful. If you want to hear music or see dancing, please check out Casa de Reyes. The food is good and it offers outdoor seating.

Sea World is a wonderful and family friendly place. You can see their fireworks from our back yard and the tower when it's lite up.

The zoo is a wonderful place and will take a couple of days to fully enjoy. I highly recommend riding the bus once. It will give you a good idea of how big the park is. Parking is free and children under three are free.

I highly recommend taking a tour. They have an audio tour and group tours. The ship is vast with a very interesting history. It can take about two to three hours to see the whole thing.

This is an older neighborhood. It has some up and coming restaurants and bars. If you enjoy whiskey, we would recommend the Seven Grand. We also enjoy Waypoint Public. It has good food and is kid friendly.
