Established in Bellingham, WA by world renowned improviser Ryan Stiles, The Upfront Theatre is a cabaret style venue that offers live improv comedy every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The Upfront is an all-ages venue and continues to attract all walks of life searching for a good time.
Since 2004 The Upfront has performed and taught many unique styles and formats of improvisation. Notably, we are known for our long form narrative shows including our popular murder mystery Hellingham, and other genre long forms such as An Improvised Musical, Space Trek and many more. We continue to produce and evolve shows each year to further the art of improvisation and keep our community with us on the edge.

Farhaven is a great neighborhood in Bellingham, full of stores, restaurants, cafes and is the old part of town. You can park and walk all around. It is also where the ferry , bus, and train, terminal are located.

Ferndale has much to offer. It has several parks and trails around to take a stroll or have a picnic. it also has many restaurants, and you can park downtown and just walk around this small but cute town and meet the friendly locals.

It is a drive up the Mt. Baker Hwy to Artis point in the summer, or skiing in the winter. You can stop along the way at the many sights to see along the way and go for a hike you will not be disappointed.

If you are looking for a great drive along the bay Chuckanut is the place to go. You can stop along the way at the pull outs and take in the beautiful views. It is one of the many wonderful drives in our area.

If you are into a ferry ride you are not far from the Lummi Island Ferry. You can take the ferry over and spend the day checking out the island.

This is a great place on your way to Mt. Baker. The Lakes are so clear you can see the bottoms. You can hike around once you get up there the views are spectacular.

These falls are also along the Drive to Mt. Baker you don't have to walk far from where you park to see them. well worth the stop.
