Anna Ruby Falls is next to Unicoi State Park and is its own entity. Here you can walk a fairly easy walk up to the falls to relax and let the beauty of these falls carry you away. Great photo opts as well.

Habersham Winery is located just south of Helen proper and here you can taste and buy some very nice local wines. Habersham was the first winery to open locally and is quite popular with the tourists as well as the locals.

5050 US-129Cottage Winery is located about 20 minutes from Helen and it is well worth the ride there. It has some nice local wines (as well as beers) and the views are spectacular. This should definitely be on your to-visit list if you want a relaxing afternoon in the mountains.
Frog town is another fine winery that has been in the area for several years and has developed into a Napa Valleyesque looking setting. The wine is good and the views delightful. They also serve food, such as salads and sandwiches.
