Probably the most challenging hike on Oahu. Well worth it. It is a straight up incline over 1,000 steps, amazing views at the top of the Windward coast side. Not for the faint of heart.

Best snorkeling on the east side. Go very early, you have to watch a movie before going to the beach. Closed Tuesday. Don't wear jewelry in the water, it will come off.

Remote beach with limited bathroom facilities. Do not go to Waimanalo Beach Park, go further towards Waimanalo town near Bellows. It is safer there.

Nice rain forest hike with a waterfall at the end. Can be very wet and slippery. More tourisy than the rain forest in my backyard, however not as intense and has paved areas.

This is the most local beach on the Waikiki strip. Parking is easier on this end and there is a store to buy drinks and food. Try to swim out to the windsock for a challenge.
