Large Local Events
There is ALWAYS something happening, EXCEPT WHEN THE CORONA VIRUS PUTS A DAMPER ON THINGS! In 2021 please check specific events to make sure they are happening and what the specific Covid 19 requirements are.
Artown happens the entire month of July (every year) in the Reno/Sparks area! Two dimensional art, dance, music, theater....even movies in the park. Live events to happen in 2021...check the Artown website for the specifics.
My recommendation is to get the free "Artown Book" from local sponsors or any local public library (the books go fast so get one early). The booklet is organized by date and event. Plan your outings or go spur of the moment....FYI some events are ticketed and sell out early.
