Bishops Waltham is a delightful village with several coffee/brunch shops 'Josie' and 'Natural Deli' are favourites, there are also many restaurants 2 Indian, 1 Italian, 2 Chinese, a tapas bar and several pubs, as well as an excellent Fish & Chip shop. Many small boutique type shops selling clothing, Children's toys, Antiques. A Healthspace for many types of treatments and many hairdressers.
Walk through St Peter's Church yard the original church dates back to between 1129 - 1204, to the village walk down St Peter's Street, a picture prefect street with wonderful hanging baskets in the summer.
