If you want to take back a piece of the local flare from the area, you have GOT to check out their T shirts, hats, and huggies.

Eno River Farmers Market

A great place to walk, run, ride, rollerblade along the river on paved trails. It has been expanded to the old Speedway trail, and this side is unpaved, but with crushed Chapel Hill grit to make walking on the trail comfy. One side ends at Gold Park, the local kids & dog park. Also along the trail you can access the Eno River Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

On the Main Street in Hillsborough right next to Matthew's chocolates, the "Nick" opens in afternoon till late. Good pub food, wings, beer, liquors. Not a sports bar, but you can catch the game here!

Not your average pizza! They have a selection of plenty of other foods - sandwiches, appetizers, salads. They have a nice outdoor patio for dining. We take the dogs to dinner on the patio here!

Delicious chocolates, hot chocolate, and all things yummy! Great truffles. A stop for sure after dinner, and have plenty of treats to take along back home as a memento of your travels, if you don't eat them first!

Not you usual diner experience. Little bar seating area for one person dining or for a drink while waiting on a table. Top honor for their burgers! Their famous Vinegar Pie was featured in "Our State" magazine in 2019 mountain issue.
