This is one of few traditional Yucatecan cuisine restaurants with a nice setting and a great buffet Monday through Friday from 1PM to 5PM. Yucatecan cuisine can be quite heavy so I recommend it for lunch

After a day at Playa Chacmool, if you are very hungry, visit Surfing Burrito just a short walk away from the beach access. This place is famous for offering great burritos to tourists and locals as well as smoothies and fries

This was meant to be the heart of Cancún when it all started. Now it has become a local spot for street food so if you are into esquites, quesadillas and those sort of street bites, this is a local spot known for that.

Beautiful public beach. There are beach clubs there but I honestly recommend you just take your own towels and can take a cooler with drinks to spend the day there. Any of the buses you catch at the bus stop near the apartment can drop you off at this area - just consider you will have to cross the street and the party center to find the access to the beach.
