The Carillon bell tower, a World War I memorial, is a Richmond fixture used for festivals, meetings, and wedding receptions, and Dogwood Dell outdoor ampitheatre hosts free concerts and plays on summer evenings.
Kids love feeding the friendly birds on Swan Lake, fishing for trout in Shields Lake, and rental paddleboat rides on Fountain Lake.
A cold winter provides opportunities for sledding down Reservoir Hill and skating on the lakes.
