This is a authentic Italian restaurant in downtown where you can have delicious meals for a really reasonable price. The staff is also Italian so it's a plus if you speak Italian, but be cautious cos a lot of times you won't find vacant tables if you didn't make a reservation.

This place is right next to the Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library, so this place is really popular amongst students not only because it is 2 steps away but the quality of the food for a really reasonable price is so cool. You will find the interior so amazing too - mainly if you are a fan of vintage style.

You will find the interior so amazing too - mainly if you are a fan of vintage style.
If you are vegan this is the place for you. I think this is the biggest and most well-known vegan place in Budapest. Be aware of the possibility of a big queue during lunch-time.

Drinks & Nightlife
This place has a big reputation amongst locals especially artists. Prices are really good, the kitchen is also amazing, dozens of programmes such as live music or film clubs. Definitely worth checking it out.

One of the most iconic ruin bars in downtown which is still in between of touristical and underground. You will meet both tourists as well as locals. The Mexican food in the Taqueira and the Cocktail Bar at the back is also amazing. :) Love this place.

If you want to dance and meet people, but you don't fancy overcrowded danceclubs then you will definitely like this place.

One of the biggest ruin bars in Budapest. It's interior is quite unique and powerful despite the totally minimalistic style. It's one of the very few spots in Budapest which is openly gay friendly and also hosts gay parties regularly. Its dancefloor is quite small though due to the nearby dwellers.
