This bakery is only a 5 minute walk from the guest suite and has great desserts! If you're looking for something to pick up to bring to a party, we would highly recommend this bakery.

Many shows and concerts come to Center in the Square. Check their website for what might be playing while you are in the area! A small venue with lots of great shows coming through. Parking is reasonable, and lots of great food spots to go to before or after.

If you're willing to drive a little further, book an afternoon to enjoy high tea, book a massage or a dinner. It's a little pricey to visit, but is a local must see!

Saturday's St. Jacob's Farmers Market is a must!
The Farmers Market is open year-round with both a summer and a winter season. The summer market operates Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 am to 3:30 pm. and opens rain or shine with several onsite parking lots that are free.
There are over 300 vendors there.
*Local Note: If you don't care for all of the tourist glam visit on the Tuesday or Thursday.

The summer hosts many local festivals both in Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener. Check to see if there are any on the dates you want to visit! The KW Multicultural Festival is a great one to see in Victoria Park!
