In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Plymouth. They have a fixed price menu for set times too do it doesn't need to be an expensive night. From our house you walk to the Mount Batten Ferry and the Barbican Kitchen is a short walk away from the other side.

Great for an easy family walk on Dartmoor. You can walk on the road around the reservoir but the trails are far better. In the summer normal shoes will suffice.

Little steam train goes up one stop, have a walk and an ice cream then walk or get the train back. Great for kids.

One of the best outside pools in Europe. Pay on entry. Salt water though so never really gets above 23 degrees. Colder if it rained during the two days before.
