Food Scene
Their food is super good and they are very involved in the community. They have meeting space for folks to use and they have a roof top garden where they grow their own veggies and herbs. They also started hydroponics in the basement for the food they serve. Gotta say their food is great. They have live music once in a while.

Great halal food. Big portions served family style and a nice glimpse into the Minneapolis Somali food scene. I love the mediterranean sampler plate. Women should cover their shoulders and thighs/knees just to be respectful. They had lovely late nights meals over Ramadan.

Really nice atmosphere. Easy-going play space for the kids and you can log on and get your work done with a good cup of coffee.

This is a British pub with really good food. You will hear the British accent. Live music and trivia nights only add to the beauty of a pint of Murphy's and the Fish and Chips, etc. Watch out for the audio/blind- dart days. It's perilous near the bathrooms.

One is enough to kick you on your butt. They do offer drinks with out alcohol too. They have great appetizers, pizzas and burgers.
Great central american cuisine. Ecuadorian anyone? Humitas pollo con mole , etc., Que sabor!

Taco Taxi Food truck which is usually parked at approximately 19th Ave. and E. Lake St., $1.50 tacos out of the truck that are super good. They also serve burritos and tortas. Really I can't say anything else. I could easily eat here every day. They have a brick and mortar restaurant further down Lake St. which is modest with a few tables for very casual dining.

Really I can't say anything else. I could easily eat here every day. They have a brick and mortar restaurant further down Lake St. which is modest with a few tables for very casual dining.
It's an old fashioned classy supper club with a lot of charm, great service, patio dining in the summer and a great menu and comfortable seating at anytime. They serve pop-overs to start and Minnesota's signature dish of Walleye with green beans and whatever potato you want. This place has a special spot in my heart since it was my parent's favorite special date-night place. The bike trail goes through here though I can't imagine enjoying drinks and a meal here and then hopping on a bike... Really one of my favorite spots.

Shows where the white settlers came to stake out their spot and trade/negotiate with the indigenous peoples. The display tries to shows life back in the 1800's for the military settlers and those who accompanied them. The Fort is in good condition, the park is beautiful along the river with nice biking and hiking trails. Camp Coldwater spring, the original water source for Fort Snelling and the many people before them is very pretty. It is very close to the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers.

I like the traditional paintings and sculptures. They give me peace... Maybe start out here and explore all the others.

It's grown into at least 8 times it's original size. Check out camping and/or cabins at the inter-state park nearby in St. Croix Falls, MN or Taylor's Fall's Wi. if you have a car. The park and the nearby towns are wonderful in the summer, spring and fall. Okay there are also ski resorts in Dresser and Taylors Falls in the winter and people like them but I don't go there. Too cold... Canoeing down the St. Croix river in the warm months are a must.

The biggest shopping mall in the U.S.. Three floors with a theme park, restaurants and all sorts of other attractions in the middle of it... The light rail goes directly there and back from my home. Shop till you drop.
