At the Mulino d'Acqua Beach there a lot of sea caves. The crystal clear water has a colour which could vary from the turquoise to the emerald. It is a tranquil beach surrounded by nature. It is possible to reach the white sand beach and the rocks through a wooden walkway.
The Monaca cave takes its name from the Monaca seal (monk seal). It's said that the cave was inhabited by the monk seal in the old days. It is a beautiful inlet in between the rocks with unforgettable water.
Take care when you reach the spot! Slippery ground!

For this reason, the snake and the tower are Otranto's symbols. This is a magic and mysterious spot which is loved by who adore the landscapes and the walks in the countryside.
