The Kelpies are 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures depicting kelpies (shape-shifting water spirits), standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix, a new parkland project built to connect 16 communities in the Falkirk Council Area, Scotland. It is a beautiful day out to enjoy the sculptures and walk around the canals and parks.

Linlithgow Palace stands on a low hill above a small inland loch. The name Linlithgow means 'the loch in the damp hollow'. The site was first occupied as far back as Roman times 2,000 years ago. There has been a royal residence here since at least the reign of David I (1124–53). It is a beautiful place to visit and explore.
