This brewery has got some delicious stuff on tap. There are also cider, or sodas for those who aren’t into beer. They have a snack menu, or Red Tomato Pies will deliver to you there! In the summer the patio has games set up, and occasionally live music.

Best coffee right in town. Charming little book store with cafe upstairs. They often have delicious baked goods, and a healthy menu of bowls and sandwiches. It is small, so food can take time. Highly recommend for coffee. NOTE: they do not have to go cups, please bring your own.

This is an 8 minute drive from Golden, but definitely worth it! They have amazing food, and wine. The 5 course meal is always on point. Slightly more expensive than the other options, but if you value quality food- it’s a must.

If you are feeling adventurous this is an amazing lookout over Golden. Wait for a clear day. The drive up is 14 km on a dirt road, but the road is wide and well maintained. Once you arrive to the parking lot continue up the hill to the platform and enjoy the view. Perfect place for a picnic with friends or family.
