The best views of the city from the top of Mount Washington. There are a few restaurants, pizzerias and ice cream shops; beautiful to walk around. You can take the Incline down the hill and walk to very nice restaurants on the riverside.

Parks & Nature
We love this park because you can ride your bike, go for a walk, cross the bridges to any side of the city, great views! You can even walk to the Casino, nice gardens and sidewalks.

It's a very small park but it has a beautiful trail for walking or biking, it connects to Murrysville. When you enter the park, walk around the lake to your right and follow the trail on that side - to the left , it's short, to the right goes 6 miles or so.
There is an icecream shop nearby, yummy!

Getting Around
Oakland is that part of the city where most of the Universities are. Many museums and points of interest. Great neighborhood to walk around, nice coffee shops and restaurants on Craig St, good bus transportation to downtown, city bikes, etc.

If you walk a little outside the shopping area, you have the river, the bike trail and some historic places to visit. And on top of that you have riverside restaurants with great views and pretty affordable.
