G&P is about as 'fine dinning' as the Whitehorse has to offer. G&P has been around for many, many years. Their food is always great! Popular for their Pizza, they also do steak, halibut etc.

Local Walks (From the Condo)
Want to just get out for a walk and not be on the sidewalk? These walks are right outside the condo and are great for getting some fresh air and exercise!
2km Round Trip. Walk to the Yukon River from the condo (200 meters). Take the paved walking trail North (left when approaching the river from the condo) 800 meters to Shipyards park.

3.5km Round Trip. Walk to the Yukon River from the condo (200 meters). Take the paved walking trail South (right when approaching the river from the condo) 1.4 km to Rotary Park

This walk can be done from the condo (about 6.5km round trip). Or you can park at the SS Klondike Paddlewheeler (free parking), and take the 4.5km paved loop commonly known to locals as The Millenium Trail. The midway point of the trail takes you across the Rotary Centennial Bridge. This is a pedestrian bridge that overlooks the tail waters of the Whitehorse Hydro Dam.
Depending on what time of year you can also visit the Millenium Trail Nest (Eagle nest) that can be occupied in the spring by a family of Eagles. This nest is a man made structure that eagles have built a nest on. It is at a pull out on the Robert Service Way road. The Millenium Trail will take you thru the pullout.
Rotary Centennial Bridge
Nisutlin DriveThis walk can be done from the condo (about 6.5km round trip). Or you can park at the SS Klondike Paddlewheeler (free parking), and take the 4.5km paved loop commonly known to locals as The Millenium Trail. The midway point of the trail takes you across the Rotary Centennial Bridge. This is a pedestrian bridge that overlooks the tail waters of the Whitehorse Hydro Dam.

The Dirty Northern is one of three places all in the same building. The Dirty Northern is a solid Yukon pub loved by locals and referred to as "The Dirty". Very full of character, music, good food and a small outdoor area for the warmer days. Next door is "Miners Daughter". Although connected, Miners Daughter is more of a restaurant but has a similar vibe to the Dirty Northern. Last but not least is "Sheep Camp"... a small hidden away gem located upstairs over Miners Daughter. Currently only open Friday and Saturday nights, Sheep Camp is smaller and focused mainly on custom cocktails, fine wine and craft beer. Something for everyone at "The Dirty".

112 2nd AveJust across the street (Strickland) from the condo. This little spot is in historic building from the 1930's. Highly eye catching due to the faux moose above the bar. They brew their own beer and have good food. There are three different areas to enjoy your visit. A small rustic side where you can sit at the bar or one of two tables, a larger new side with dinning tables or lastly you can sit outside at tables or along a raised bar ledge that overlooks Second Ave.
A local micro brewery that is gaining popularity. Always a great variety of beers and light snacks. Kids are welcome here. The atmosphere is very bright and not bar like at all. During the winter months it's a common gathering place for people who spent the day skiing at Mt.Sima.
While you try some of their beers you'll surely notice their popularity among the locals. They come in almost continually to fill their 'Growelrs' to take home.

83 Mt Sima RdA local micro brewery that is gaining popularity. Always a great variety of beers and light snacks. Kids are welcome here. The atmosphere is very bright and not bar like at all. During the winter months it's a common gathering place for people who spent the day skiing at Mt.Sima.
