Neighborhoods

Broad Ripple is a restaurant/bar/shopping district, sort of a college-y vibe. There are a number of great restaurants, a canal to walk along (stop in at The Good Earth Grocery to buy corn to feed the ducks), some nice boutique clothing stores, etc. You can also grab the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) to go downtown.

The Children's Museum and the Zoo are both quite good

The Children's Museum probably ages out around 7-8 but the zoo has appeal for a wider age range. If you need to burn off some energy Marott Park has good woods and a field at 70th and College across from Park Tudor. Broad Ripple Park, on the north-east side of Broad Ripple, has a good playground.
