Less than half a mile from the site, Black Rock sands is approximately one and a half miles of golden sands backed by dunes with views of Criccieth and Harlech castles.
Cars are allowed free out of season. In season there is a hut at the access point, where the charge is £5 per car (prices may vary). Dogs are allowed on the beach in allocated areas.
There are usually ice cream vendors all the way down the beach. Toilets are situated just before the entrance.
